I had a need for a portable power source for another project - as I had a couple of the (green) Bosch tools made this adapter so I could repurpose the batteries and chargers. The print is in two parts. I printed mine in PLA which seems to work well, but should be fine in PETG or ABS. 0.3mm draft mode is fine. You will also need two automotive style 6.2mm (¼"?) spade connectors, some twin core (red and black) wire, a 20mm countersunk M3 machine screw, washer and nut. For assembly a hot glue gun is also used. Crimp the wire onto the spade connectors. Insert the M3 screw into the lower part, put some hot glue into the outer wells of the lower part.Smoosh the connectors into the correct sections so the wire colours match the polarity. Squeeze more glue on top of the connectors and put the top part onto the screw and use the nut to hold everything together. Before the glue cools, slide the module onto the battery so the spade connectors move into their correct position. Make sure the other ends of the wires are not shorted together! Once cool, remove the adapter from the battery. The adapter has two other holes to allow it to be screwed securely to another 3d printed case or adapter. These are 22mm apart, with the 3rd centre screw 25mm behind the two - allowing it to be attached securely with the 3 screws. They are countersunk so not to interfere with the battery. These batteries operate at just over 20V when fully charged - so make sure your project can cope with this voltage. It's great for powering Nema17 motors. Credit: I borrowed the hot-glue and spade connector concept from BigCliveDotCom's fast-print Lidl tool battery connector, but made this design from scratch using FreeCAD. WARNING - make this at your own risk. Take care not to over-discharge the batteries or short the outputs - you may damage the battery or yourself! Don't fiddle with the wiring with the battery connected.
