Replacement wheel The original wheel for the Elegoo Mercury X Washing Station was badly designed and people often had the plastic crack due to the stresses caused by the set screw being too aggressively tightened. This print can be printed in PLA, but I recommend ASA/ABS. Sorry, no resin version due to the heated inserts - I doubt it could handle the stresses regardless. The redesign features a reinforced center and several extra beams to prevent the flexing that I think breaks the plastic in the first place. Heated inserts I used heated inserts to replace the holes that hold the magnets and the set screw. Any M3 insert should do, but I specifically made them for m3x5.7x (such as the ones sold by CNCKitchen). Put the heated inserts for the magnets in from the ‘bottom’. Printing tips This is a pretty straight forward print, but make sure to enable support for the magnet holes - unless your bridging is on point.
