I absolutely love this original adapter, however it was so tight fitting that it made it VERY difficult to insert without greatly increasing the chance of ruining the loose filament spool. Scaling the model down (as suggested) works to make the adapter fit inside the cardboard hub, however, it then made it so the spool holder couldn't fit inside the adapter! So, I made a new model that incorporates a few slight changes: 1 - I made the overall outer diameter 1mm shorter so it fits into the cardboard hub easily, while still staying tight. 2 - I added a fillet that goes all around the outer rim to aide in getting it started into the cardboard hub. 3 - I added an extra notch to make it that much easier to find the correct orientation of the spool holder.
