I designed this adapter specifically to connect my Craftsman wet / dry vacuum to the Cyclone Dust Separator uploaded by Thomllama. Since I wanted the same part to be used on both the inlet and the outlet, I designed the small end to go inside the nominal 1.5" holes on the dust separator. I did taper it slightly as well to allow the adapter to find its own best fit. The large end has no taper, as I noticed that the end of my Craftsman hose already has one, so it should self-locate as well. Plastic shrinks, and different brands / materials shrink by different amounts. Because of this, I've also provided my parameterized model so that you can modify the fit as needed.
