A smarter shape starts here
From a drone frame to a bracket that fits just right. We use AI-assisted design to explore shapes around your dimensions, mounting points and intended use, then help turn the design into a printed part.
Have a model already, or just an idea? Send what you have. We’ll agree the design, material and price with you before printing.
What would you like to make?
Start with the type of part, then tell us what it needs to do.

Drone frames & bodies
Explore a custom drone frame or body around your motor mounts, battery and electronics. AI-assisted design and printed prototypes, made in Auckland.
Brackets & supports
Custom AI-assisted bracket design for your fixing points, available space and intended loads. Explore a design and order a printed prototype in New Zealand.
Camera & component mounts
AI-assisted design for custom camera, sensor and electronics mounts. Plan the interfaces, viewing angle, cable route and printed fit prototype with us.
Electronics enclosures
Develop an AI-assisted electronics enclosure with board mounts, connector openings and service access. Custom design and printed fit prototypes in Auckland.
Jigs & fixtures
Custom AI-assisted jig and fixture design for locating, holding and checking parts. Send the workpiece and workflow for a quoted printed prototype.
Robotics & gripper parts
Explore AI-assisted end-effector mounts, gripper fingers and robotics prototype parts. Define interfaces, movement and cable space before printing.
Replacement part redesign
Explore an AI-assisted redesign of a broken or obsolete plastic part while keeping its critical interfaces. Send photos, measurements and the failure details.
Product prototypes
AI-assisted concept development and 3D printed product prototypes in Auckland. Compare forms, check fit and plan the next revision around a clear brief.
Plan your AI-assisted part
Understand the inputs, the model and the checks before you begin.
How generative design works
Understand how generative design uses fixed interfaces and clear space to explore part shapes, and what to send for an AI-assisted 3D printing enquiry.
Topology optimisation explained
A practical introduction to topology and shape optimisation for 3D printed parts, from defined loads and interfaces to model review and prototype checks.
Prepare your design brief
Prepare a useful custom-part design brief: dimensions, mounting interfaces, clearances, intended use and the prototype checks you need. No finished CAD required.
From AI concept to printable model
Move from an AI-generated image or rough shape to a dimensioned, reviewed 3D model and printed prototype. Understand what information still needs defining.
Designed around what your part needs to do
AI-assisted design gives us another way to explore a part’s shape. We start with the space it must fit, the connections it needs and how you plan to use it. Then we review the candidate design for practical printing, assembly and fit.
The drone body above shows the idea: an open frame with branching ribs and defined motor mounting points. It is a design concept, rather than a tested flight-ready product. Any functional frame needs its own engineering checks and prototype testing.
From your brief to a prototype
- Tell us about the part. Send dimensions, photos, mounting points or an existing model, plus the job it needs to do.
- Explore the design. We use AI-assisted tools to develop options around the brief and discuss a suitable material.
- Review before printing. You see the proposed design, price and lead time before we go ahead.
- Print, check and refine. Start with a prototype to check fit and function. Further revisions are agreed with you.
Have something in mind?
Drone frames, custom mounts, brackets, enclosures and workshop fixtures are all good starting points for a conversation. Share the problem you are trying to solve, even if you do not have a 3D file yet.
