I designed these brackets specifically for the Polymaker sponsored filament wall on The LM Show - https://twitch.tv/loyalmoses - Of course, these brackets can be used for any shelving application. IMHO shelving for filament (open, bagged or boxed), 3D prints & decorations is far better than the pipe / hangar options that very much limit the use of valuable wall space. Take advantage of ALL of your wall space, add some RGB and display your prints and filament like a pro! Designed to be printed on a Prusa MINI or larger build volume! I recommend 4 perimeters and 25% infill, Polymaker PolyLite PLA Pro, or PETG. The screw holes are designed for #9 x 3" screws. PLA Pro allows the screws to snug TIGHTLY against the wall without cracking or damaging the brackets. I recommend brackets in all studs (commonly every 16" in the US). My wall used 36 brackets, and each row of shelving has 12" between them to allow for larger items like helmets to be displayed with the filament. The shelves are Rubbermaid 8" laminated shelves, in varying lengths. Home Depot and other home improvement stores regularly carry these items. There are two versions of the bracket, standard and heavy. I used a mixture of both standard and heavy, but the heavy is not required, it is seriously over-engineered, and the majority of the filament wall is with the standard bracket. The lighting on the wall is Philips HUE RGB strip lights. Please post your makes, I'd LOVE to see your filament wall!
